System requirements
Windows 10 or 11, x64, Google Chrome, and the official ApplyNotes extension. macOS, Linux, Windows ARM, and other Chromium browsers are not supported in this release.
ApplyNotes Native Companion
Capture beyond the browser tab.
The optional Windows x64 companion enables display, window, and custom-region capture for the official ApplyNotes extension.
Why install it?
Browser capture handles the active webpage. Native capture adds full display, application window, and custom-region capture, with Pen and Box annotation and clipboard/save flows.
Install
Download and extract the ZIP, then run install.ps1 in PowerShell. Reload ApplyNotes in Chrome after installation. The installer binds only to the official extension ID.
Uninstall
Run uninstall.ps1 from the extracted package. Removing the companion does not delete ApplyNotes notes or images.
Privacy
The companion performs capture and annotation locally. It does not upload captured pixels. Cloud upload occurs only through ApplyNotes when a signed-in user explicitly enables Cloud sync.
Windows warning
Version 1.2.1 is not Authenticode-signed. Windows SmartScreen may display an unknown-publisher warning. Verify the SHA-256 checksum before installing.
